Hello Betty I was just going through my favorites folder and happened upon your old sites. I also found your Blog at Blogstream. How are you? Are you still in Ohio? How is Masen? Are you still suffering with depression. As you may remember I too have had depression on and off for many years. It is so strange the way we suffer with pain and illness and the general strife of life and it seems to get worse as we get older. However, I know, as I'm sure you do too, that we will suffer no more when we get to our heavenly home. Your poems as usual are really good and you are such a blessing to others. I hope you will get back to your blog. If it only blesses one person it will be worth it! A friend told me the other day she felt like she never did anything for God. I heard Joyce Meyers speak on that, she said "we ALL have gifts but sometimes don't recognize them. What gift have you got now today that you can use for God." My friend realized she had a computer and the gift of website building and blogging and so on and realized, she may be alone and home bound but she still had gifts to use. God is our TEACHER - He shows us a better way, He takes us to the heights, He gives us freedom to learn, gives us the information we need!
God is SUFFICIENT -We can do everything and anything through Him who gives us strength, His power is made perfect through our weakness, He gives us everything we need! I am in Alaska right now with my dad and we're driving home to Oregon Sept. 1. I would appreciate your prayers for safety, and we have a boat up here we'd like to sell - I would appreciate your prayers for that also. Thanks! |
